SSC CGL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024 for filling up various Group “B” and Group “C” posts. There are a total of 17727 vacancies available for these posts. Candidates with Any Degree qualifications can apply for these posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 24 June 2024 to 24 July 2024.

Detailed Eligibility for SSC Careers:
Junior Statistical Officer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level [or]
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Statistical Investigator Grade II:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute.
- The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years or all 6 semesters of the graduation course
Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- Desirable: Minimum one year of research experience in any recognized university or research institution; degree in law or human rights from a recognized university.
All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Note: The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply. However, they must possess Essential qualifications on or before 01 August 2024.

SSC Careers – Selection Process:
SSC CGL selection process will be on the Computer Examination will be conducted in two tiers
- Tier-I & Tier-II
Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination
- This Exam consists of 100 questions for 200 Marks. The total time duration is 60 minutes.
- Tier I will consist of Multiple objective-choice questions.
- The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for the English Comprehension.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer

Tier-II: Computer Based Examination
- This examination was conducted for 180 minutes
- Tier-II (Paper-I & Paper-II) will consist of Objective Type Multiple choice questions, except for Module II of Section III of Paper I.
- The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for the English Language and Comprehension module in Section II of Paper I.
- There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II.

Mode of Selection:
- Minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I, Section-I, Section-II & Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I of Tier-II & Paper-II of Tier-II Examination are as follows

- The maximum percentage of errors allowed (i.e. minimum qualifying standards) in Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I of Tier-II Examination i.e. DEST are as follows:
- UR: 20%
- OBC/ EWS: 25%
- All other categories: 30%
- A merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance of candidates in the Tier-II Examination only
Application Fees:
- No application fees for Women/SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Service
- For other candidates: Rs. 100/-
Mode of Payment: Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards
