Spices Board Recruitment 2023: The Spices Board has announced notification for Project Fellow Role on a contract basis. There is one opening for this post. About Spices Board Of India: It is the Indian government regularity, and it was constituted on 26 February 1987. Its headquarters is in Kochi, and Subash Vasu is the current chairman of the spices board. It is one of the five commodity boards functioning under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. It is responsible for the production/development of cardamom and the export promotion of 52 spices. It started the online campaign called The Spice Train to educate the Indians about the country’s rich spice heritage.

Detailed Eligibility
Educational Qualification:
Project Title: “Evaluation of Flupyrimin 10% SC against thrips and borer (shoot/panicle /capsule borer) in small cardamom”.
Project Fellow:
- M.Sc. in Zoology / Food & Industrial Microbiology/ Agriculture Chemicals
- Desirable: Working knowledge in statistics/computer and Experience in research on cardamom evidenced by publications /articles/abstracts/dissertations etc
Activities during the tenure: Execution of experiment in field, pesticide residue analysis, microbial analysis, data recording and report preparation
Tenure of the Project Fellow: One year. Maybe extendable subject to extension of the Project
Age Limit(As on 03 January 2024): Not more than 30 years
Salary: Rs. 21,000 (fixed) per month
