National School of Drama Notification 2025 : The National School of Drama invites applications from eligible candidates for the Assistant Light and Sound Technician/Assistant Wardrobe Supervisor/Lower Division Clerk (LDC) posts. There are 08 vacancies to be filled in this recruitment. Candidates with 12th/Diploma qualifications are eligible to apply for this job. National School of Drama Notification 2025 Detailed Eligibility:

Education Qualification:

Assistant Light and Sound Technician:

• Senior Secondary (10+2) pass from a recognized Board or University or equivalent
• Diploma in electrical from a recognized institute or equivalent or Degree/Diploma in Sound Technology from a recognized institute or equivalent
• Five years experience of lighting/sound operations in a theatre hall or under a reputed firm dealing with lighting / sound equipment and knowledge of handling the lighting / sound equipment

Assistant Wardrobe Supervisor:

• Senior Secondary (10+2) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
• Diploma in cutting/tailoring from NIFT / any other recognized institution / NSD
• Two years experience in handling and maintaining of records in a reputed theatre organization

Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

• Senior Secondary (10+2) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
• Typing speed of at least 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.

Age Limit:

• Assistant Light and Sound Technician: 30 years and below
• Assistant Wardrobe Supervisor: 30 years and below
• Lower Division Clerk: 28 years and below

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Central list – NCL) and other specified categories of persons as per rules.

Salary Details: 

• Assistant Light and Sound Technician: Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/- (Level 06)
• Assistant Wardrobe Supervisor: Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/- (Level 06)
• Lower Division Clerk: Rs. 19,900/- to 63,200/- (Level 02)
