Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE) Notification 2020 : The Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE), the State Skill Development Mission, under Department of Labour and Skills, Government of Kerala, invites applications from qualified and competent candidates for appointment to various posts on contract basis in Kerala State Institute of Design (KSID). Interested candidates may apply via ONLINE mode only by filling the prescribed application form given in the website of Centre for Management Development (CMD), Thiruvananthapuram (www.cmdkerala.net). The details are given below;

Qualification
a. Postgraduate Degree/ Diploma (minimum 2 years program) in Communication Design (specialising in Film and Video /Photography/New Media Design/Interaction Design or experience design) from premier institutes like NID, IIT or institutions of national importance. Or
Undergraduate Degree/ Diploma (minimum 4 years program) in Communication Design (specialising in Film and Video /Photography/New Media Design/ Interaction Design or experience design) premier institutions like NID, IIT or institutions of national importance.
b. Excellent Communication Skills.
Experience
Minimum Eight (8) years of professional experience in industry / academia/ research in the area of Design.
Or
Minimum ten (10) years of professional experience in industry / academia/ research in the area of Design.
Upper Age Limit (as on 01-06-20) : 54 years
Consolidated Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 80,000/- per month

Qualification
a. Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (minimum 2 years program) in Textile Design from premier institutions like NID, NIFT or institutions of national importance or equivalent with core courses in textile Design
Or
Undergraduate Degree/Diploma (minimum 4 years program) in Textile Design from premier institutions like NID, NIFT or
institutions of national importance or equivalent with core courses in Textile Design
b.Should have excellent manual/digital textile visualization skills.
c. Excellent Communication Skills.
d.Should have good knowledge of textile and graphic design softwares.
e. Strong knowledge of various materials in textiles.
f. Should have weaving, printing and dyeing knowledge of industrial manufacturing systems and its relevant standards.
Experience
Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in industry / academia in the area of design.
Or
Minimum Five (5) years of professional experience in industry / academia in the area of design.
Upper Age Limit (as on 01-06-20) : 54 years
Consolidated Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 60,000/- per month
# – Only post qualification work experience of the candidate until 01.06.2020 will be considered.
Note:
The candidate should have professional experience in industrial projects and should have experience in working on entire span of the design process.
Candidate should have good experience in Design Research. The candidate should have good skills to manage academic programmes.
It shall be noted that admittance to various stages of the recruitment will be provisional only, and will not confer any claim unless various other conditions of selection processes are satisfied. Detailed scrutiny of the applications/credentials will be conducted before interview/appointment.
Any discrepancy found during the detailed scrutiny will result in the rejection of the candidature.
KASE reserves the right to shortlist only a limited number of candidates for test/group discussion/interview, as the case may be for the post, based on marks secured in their qualifying examination and/or years of relevant experience. Candidates should clearly mention the marks scored in their qualifying examination in the application. The onus of proving the conversion from grade/CGPA to percentage of marks would rest with the candidate.

In the event of any information provided by the candidate being found false or incorrect at any stage, their candidature/appointment is liable to be cancelled/terminated without any notice.
