Power Grid Recruitment 2023 for Junior Technician Trainee : കേന്ദ്ര ഊർജമന്ത്രാലയത്തിന് കീഴിലുള്ള സ്ഥാപനമായ പവർഗ്രിഡ് കോർപ്പറേഷനിൽ ജൂനിയർ ടെക്നീഷ്യൻ ട്രെയിനിയുടെ (ഇലക്ട്രീഷ്യൻ) 203 ഒഴിവിലേക്ക് അപേക്ഷ ക്ഷണിച്ചു.
ഒൻപത് റീജിയനുകളിലായാണ് ഒഴിവുകൾ.
കേരളവും തമിഴ്നാടും കർണാടകയുടെ ഒരു ഭാഗവും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന സതേൺ റീജിയൻ- II- ൽ 30 ഒഴിവാണുള്ളത്.
യോഗ്യത : ഇലക്ട്രീഷ്യൻ ട്രേഡിൽ ഐ.ടി.ഐ.യാണ് യോഗ്യത.
ഉയർന്ന യോഗ്യതയുള്ളവരെ പരിഗണിക്കില്ല.
പ്രായം : 27 വയസ്സ് കവിയരുത്.
എസ്.സി./എസ്.ടി. വിഭാഗക്കാർക്ക് അഞ്ചുവർഷത്തെയും ഒ.ബി.സി. വിഭാഗക്കാർക്ക് മൂന്നുവർഷത്തെയും ഇളവുണ്ട്.
ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാർക്കും വിമുക്തഭടന്മാർക്കും നിയമാനുസൃത വയസ്സിളവ് ലഭിക്കും.
ശമ്പളം : ഒരുവർഷത്തെ പരിശീലനകാലത്ത് പ്രതിമാസം 18,500 രൂപ സ്റ്റൈപ്പൻഡ് ലഭിക്കും.
പരിശീലനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കുന്നവരെ 21,500 രൂപ മുതൽ 74,000 രൂപ – സ്കെയിലുള്ള ജൂനിയർ ടെക്നീഷ്യൻ തസ്തികയിൽ നിയമിക്കും.
പരിശീലനത്തിന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർ 1,25,000 രൂപയുടെ (എസ്.സി, എസ്.ടി., ഭിന്നശേഷി വിഭാഗക്കാർ 62,500 രൂപ) സർവീസ് ബോണ്ട് നൽകണം.
അപേക്ഷാഫീസ് : 200 രൂപ (എസ്.സി, എസ് . ടി . വിഭാഗക്കാർക്കും ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാർക്കും വിമുക്തഭടന്മാർക്കും ബാധകമല്ല).
തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് :
- കംപ്യൂട്ടർ അധിഷ്ഠിത എഴുത്തുപരീക്ഷ,
- ഡോക്യുമെന്റ് വെരിഫിക്കേഷൻ,
- ട്രേഡ് ടെസ്റ്റ്,
- മെഡിക്കൽ പരിശോധന എന്നിവ നടത്തിയാവും തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്.
കംപ്യൂട്ടർ അധിഷ്ഠിത എഴുത്തുപരീക്ഷ ഒബ്ജക്ടീവ് മാതൃകയിലായിരിക്കും.
രണ്ടുമണിക്കൂറാണ് സമയം.
120 ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ടെക്നിക്കൽ നോളജുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടും 50 ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ആപ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂഡുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടുമായിരിക്കും.
കേരളമുൾപ്പെടുന്ന റീജിയനിൽ കൊച്ചി, ബെംഗളൂരു, ചെന്നൈ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ പരീക്ഷാകേന്ദ്രമുണ്ടാവും.

Educational Qualification
Junior Technician Trainee (Electrician):
- ITI (Electrical) pass in Electrician Trade from a recognized technical board/ Institute.
- Higher technical qualification like Diploma/B.E./B.Tech etc. with or without ITI, is not allowed either at the time of application or at the time of joining
Service Agreement Bond: The selected candidates on training will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs.1,25,000/- for General/ OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and Rs.62,500/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for serving the Corporation for a minimum period of three years after completion of training successfully.
Age Limit(As on 12 December 2023): 27 years

- PwBD: 10 years over and above category relaxation

Selection Process
The selection process will comprise of Written Test / Computer Test, Document Verification, Trade Test & Pre-Employment Medical Examination
Computer-Based Test:
- The question paper shall be of 02 hours duration with objective type with four answer choices for each question
- Part-I [Technical Knowledge (TKT)] – 120 Questions and Part-II [Aptitude Test (AT)] – 50 Questions
- All questions carry equal marks (1 mark)
- Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of ¼
- TKT shall comprise of questions from ITI – Electrician Trade and AT shall comprise of General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude & General Awareness
- Qualifying marks : Unreserved / EWS Vacancies – Minimum 40% marks in total, Reserved Vacancies – Minimum 30% marks in total
Trade Test
- Candidates who qualify in Written Test through Computer Based Test will be called for Trade Test in the ratio of 1:5 vacancies for up to 3 vacancies, 15 for 4 vacancies and 1:3 for 5 or more vacancies advertised in any category for this post.
- The Trade Test will be Qualifying in nature and Qualifying marks in test shall be 40% for Unreserved/ EWS and 30% for reserved category candidates if posts reserved for the respective category in respective Region. Trade Test shall not carry any weightage in final merit
Final merit:
- Final merit for selection will be decided based on marks secured by the candidates in Written Test through Computer Based Test (100% weightage) subject to qualifying in Trade Test.
- Candidates who will qualify as per qualifying criteria shall be shortlisted category-wise for empanelment in proportion to the number of vacancies in the respective category.

- Rs. 200/- through online mode.
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
