Vacancy Details

Name of the Post/Position : Accountant

• Upper Age Limit : 37 years
• No. of Vacancies : 1 (One)

Minimum Essential qualifications

(i) M.Com (Master of Commerce) with minimum 55% marks /equivalent grade/ CGPA.
(ii) Certificate course in Tally.
(iii) Three years of experience in financial accounting in Scientific/ Research institutions under the State/ Central Governments. Or Five years of work experience in a CA(Chartered Accountant) firm conducting accounts/audit of Government organizations.

Desirable qualification : Experience in the computation, remittance of GST/Income tax and filing of GST/IT returns.

Consolidated Emoluments ₹ 30,000/- per month

Name of the Post/Position : Office Assistant (Project)

• Upper Age Limit : 35 years
• No. of Vacancies : 2 (Two)

Minimum Essential qualifications

(i) Post-Graduation with minimum 50% marks/equivalent grade/ CGPA.
(ii) Diploma in Computer Applications.

Desirable qualification : One year experience in Scientific/ Research institutions under the State/ Central Governments.

Consolidated Emoluments ₹ 20,000/- per month

2. All educational qualification certificates shall be from a recognised Board/University.
3. Experience gained shall be counted from the date of acquiring the prescribed minimum essential educational qualification.
4. Only those candidates fulfilling all the essential qualifications, and qualifying the screening by a duly constituted screening committee, will be short-listed for further selection process.
5. The CGPA/Grade to % conversion formula (issued by the competent authority) applicable for the degree awarding institution (wherever grading other than % is used) has to be submitted along with the application, if the formula is not already provided in the certificate/mark sheet.
6. The short-listed candidates will be selected through a selection process comprising of a written test and/or interview.
7. The initial appointment will be for one year, and subsequent extensions will be based on performance and approval from the competent authority of the Institute.
8. The position is purely temporary, and selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any claim for future positions at IAV (permanent or otherwise).
9. All the correspondence on this appointment will be through e-mail only, and hence the candidates are requested to provide a valid e-mail ID.
10. The amendments in the notification (if any) and the results will be published on the website of the institute, and the applicants should regularly check the website for updates.
11. Canvassing in any form is not permitted, and any interim enquiry will not be entertained.
12. The Director, IAV reserves the right to decide on the number of positions to be filled; and on any matter related to the selection procedure, including cancellation of the selection process, if circumstances demand so.
13. The selected candidates are required to join within 15 days from the date of the appointment order.
14. Fees for application: Rs. 200 + GST Application submitted without fees shall not be considered.
