IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 for 10,277 Vacancies

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 – The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) invites online applications for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP Clerk-XV) to recruit Customer Service Associates (Clerks). A total of 10,277 vacancies are available for these posts. Candidates with any degree qualification are eligible to apply. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before 21 August 2025. Detailed eligibility criteria and the application process are provided below;

Educational Qualification:

Customer Service Associates (Clerk):

• A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory, i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
• The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT, should be proficient in (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) the specified/opted local language of that State/UT

Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):

• Minimum: 20 years and Maximum: 28 years
• A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2005 (both dates inclusive)

Age Relaxation:

• 5 Years for SC/ST
• 3 Years for OBC
• 10 Years for PWD category
• Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen – actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum limit of 50 years
• Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Age concession upto the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

Selection Process of IBPS Clerk XV Recruitment 2025:

• IBPS Clerk selection process is based on Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.
• Marks obtained in the online main examination only will be considered for final merit listing.

Preliminary Examination (Objective Test):

• Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.
• Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination..

Main Examination (Objective Test):

• At the time of Main Exam: Candidates must bring duly authenticated Online Preliminary Exam call letter (with authenticated copy of ID proof) as well as Main Exam call letter. These documents along-with other requisite documents must be submitted during the Main Exam.
• Cut-off Score (Online Main examination): Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary & Main Examination)

• There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
• For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
• If a question is left blank, i.e. the candidate marks no answer, there will be no penalty for that question.

Note: Any change in the structure of the examination will be intimated through authorised IBPS website

Application Fee:

• For SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates: Rs. 175/-
• For all others: Rs. 850/-
