Project Associate-I:
- Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Senior Project Associate :
- Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Candidates with a Masters’ Degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Genetics/ Molecular Biology/ Veterinary Sciences need not apply for this post. AND Relevant research experience after Masters’ degree is required. Publications in peer-reviewed journals in relevant field. OR Doctoral Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/Environmental Sciences from a recognized University OR
- Masters’ Degree in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geography or related fields with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University, with relevant work experience after obtaining the degree.
Project Scientist-II :
- Doctoral Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University. AND Minimum three (03) years relevant experience post PhD.
Project Associate-II :
- Masters’ Degree in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geography or related fields with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University, with relevant work experience after obtaining the degree. AND Minimum two (02) years of research experience after Masters’ degree is required. OR Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University AND Minimum two (02) years of research experience after Masters’ degree is required.

WII Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
- The selection to all the posts will be based on personal interview, which will be conducted by a duly constituted Interview Committee. All the applications received, will be screened and only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The date of the interview will be communicated to the candidates for making travel arrangements to report at WII or through Video Conferencing. The selection of the candidate will be in accordance with the performance in the interview and in order of merit as decided by the Interview Committee. The prescribed essential qualifications and desirable qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
