About National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) : It is one of the research institutions of the Indian Council of Medical Research. NIMR is under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Government of India. It is established in 1977 as the Malaria Research Centre, which was renamed the National Institute of Malaria Research in November 2005. The Institute also plays a key role in manpower resource development through workshops/training and the transfer of technology.

Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Bio-ecology of Malaria Vectors in Endemic and diverse ecotypes (urban, coastal, and Riverine) in Tamil Nadu
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):
- Pass/ High school or equivalent.
- Desirable: Field experience in surveillance of mosquito vectors/data collection/community-based surveys.
- Able to interact well with the household members/community.
- Able to write and communicate well in the local language in the study districts.
Age limit ( As on 17 April 2023 ): 25 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is admissible as per the Govt. of India/ICMR Norms.

Selection Process:
- The selection process includes a Written Exam/Walk-in-interview.
- The written examination will be conducted only for shortlisting of candidates and the selection would be based on the performance in the interview/personal discussion only.
- The interview will be held on the same day after registration and verification of documents.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter after the scheduled date and time.
- If there are more than 30 candidates for any post, the written examination will be conducted, and shortlisted candidates will be considered for an interview/personal discussion on the same day.
