KVK Krishi Vigyan Kendra Recruitment 2025 : ICAR – Krishi Vigyan Kendra has announced notification for the Programme Assistant (Lab Technician/Farm Manager)/Stenographer Grade III/Supporting Staff posts. There are four vacancies available for these posts. Candidates with B.Sc/M.Sc/12th/10th/ITI qualifications can apply for this post. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by postal on or before 17 January 2025.

Educational Qualifications:

Programme Assistant (Lab Technician):

• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
• Desirable: 
  • Master’s degree in Animal Science 2-3 years of working experience in the relevant field.
  • Working knowledge in computer applications

Programme Assistant (Farm Manager):

• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
• Desirable: 
  • Master’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture 2-3 years of working experience in Farm Management.
  • Working knowledge in computer applications

Stenographer Grade III: 

• 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
• Professional efficiency:
  • The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Tamil at 80 w.p.m. (i.e. words per minute) for 10 minutes.
  • The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on a computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Tamil will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on the computer.

Supporting Staff: Matriculation or equivalent pass or ITI pass

Age Limit:

• Programme Assistant (Lab Technician): 30 years
• Programme Assistant (Farm Manager): 30 years
• Stenographer Grade III: 18 to 27 years
• Supporting Staff: 18 to2 5years

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC & PWD candidates and other categories can be followed as per Gol norms.

Salary Details:

• Programme Assistant (Lab Technician): Rs. 35,400/-
• Programme Assistant (Farm Manager): Rs. 35,400/-
• Stenographer Grade III: Rs. 25,500/-
• Supporting Staff: Rs. 18,000/-

Selection Process of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Careers

• The selection process will be based on interviews.
