About ICAR- Krishi Vigyan Kendra: A Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) is an agricultural extension center in India. All KVKs fall under the jurisdiction of one of the 11 Agricultural Technology Application Research Institutes (ATARIs) throughout India. As of January 2020, there were approximately 721 KVKs throughout India. A key strategy in addressing these issues, in addition to policy support and a functioning market, is using technology to better understand and adapt to complex challenges. However, higher-level research about modern agricultural trends, such as Climate Change and GMOs, takes place in universities.

- M.Sc Agriculture (Agronomy/Entomology/Extension/Plant Pathology/Soil Science)
- Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications & experience in Research and/or Extension in Cotton Crop
Young Professionals-I:
- B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc. Honours (Agriculture Business Management)/ B.Tech, (Agriculture Engineering/B.Sc Agril. Biotechnology/ Food Technology)
- Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications, experience in Research and/or Extension in Cotton Crop
Note: MSCIT or Equivalent qualification will be compulsory.

Educational Qualifications:
Driver:
- Matriculation from a recognized board.
- Possession of a valid and appropriate driving license from the Government Authority (the candidate will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by the appropriate committee of the Institute/Host Institute.
- Desirable: One-year trade certificate in the relevant field from ITI, or
- Experience in driving in recognized Institutions: or
- Experience in motor mechanic work.
Skilled Support Staff:
- Matriculation or equivalent pass OR ITI pass from any govt recognized authorized institution.
- Desirable: Good knowledge of the local language and proficiency in cycling/two-wheeler driving.
Stenographer:
- 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University, completed on or before the date of the advertisement and knowledge of computer.
- Professional Efficiency: The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or in Hindi at 80 w.p.n. for 10 minutes.
- The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on the computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on the computer.

- Stenographer: 18 – 27 years
- Driver: 18 – 30 years
- Skilled Support Staff: 18 – 25 years

- OBC: 03 years
