KSCB Recruitment 2024 – The Kerala State Co-operative Bank (Kerala Bank) has announced notification for Clerk/Cashier/Office Attendant posts. There are 479 openings for these posts. Candidates with the qualification of 7th/B.Com/MA/Graduate/B.Sc are eligible to apply for KSCB Careers.

About Kerala Bank – Kerala State Co-operative Bank (KSCB)

The beginning of the Kerala State Co-operative Bank Ltd dates back to early 20th century. In the year 1914, the then Maharaja of Travancore, His Highness Sree Moolam Thirunal Ramavarma, through a proclamation introduced “The Travancore Co-operative Societies Regulation Act”. The Bank was registered in the year 1915 as the “Trivandrum Central Co-operative Bank” which was the first Cooperative Society to be formed in the former princely State of Travancore . It started functioning as a Bank on January 18, 1916 with a share capital of Rs.1,00,000 /- made up of 1000 shares of Rs.100/- each. In the beginning, there were 16 Co-operative Societies and 69 individuals as its members.

Detailed Eligibility – KSCB Careers:

Educational Qualification:

Clerk/Cashier (General category):

• Degree in Commerce or Masters Degree in Arts of a recognized University with cooperation as special subject. OR
• Any Bachelors Degree of a Recognized University and Higher Diploma in Co-operation or Higher Diploma in Co-operation and Business Management (HDC or HDC & BM of State Co-operative Union of Kerala or HDC and HDCM of the National Council for Co-operative Training) or successful completion of the Subordinate (Junior ) Personal Co-operative Training Course ( Junior Diploma in Co-operation) OR
• B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking) Degree of Kerala Agricultural University.

Clerk/Cashier (Society Category):

• Must have 3 years regular service in approved post of similar or higher categories of employees of the Member Societies (PACS and Urban Co-operative Bank). Such persons should be continuing in the vice of the Member Society not only in the date of application but also in the date of appointment. Degree in Commerce or Masters Degree in Arts of a recognized University with Co-operation as special subject. OR
• Any Bachelors Degree of Recognized University and Higher Diploma in Co-operation or Higher Diploma in Co-operation and Business Management (HDC or HDC & BM of State Co-operative Union of Kerala or HDC and HDCM of the National Council for Co-operative Training) or successful completion of the Subordinate (Junior ) Personal Co-operative Training Course ( Junior Diploma in Co-operation) OR
• B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking) Degree of Kerala Agricultural University.

Office Attendant (General Category):

• Minimum Pass in Standard VII and should not have acquired any Degree.

Office Attendant (Society Category):

• The employees of the Full Time Contingent Staff from the Member Societies must have three years continuous service. Such persons should be continuing in the service of the Member Society not only on the date of application but also on the date of appointment.
• Minimum Pass in Standard VII and should not have acquired any Degree

Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall, from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for continuous period one year on duty within a continuous period of two years.

Age Limit:

• Clerk/Cashier (General category): 18 – 40. Only candidates born between 02/01/1984 and 01/01/2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
• Clerk/Cashier (Society Category): 18 – 50 years. Only candidates born between 02/01/1974 and 01/01/2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
• Office Attendant (General Category): 18 – 40. Only candidates born between 02/01/2006 and 01/01/1984 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
• Office Attendant (Society Category): 18 – 50 years. Only candidates born between 02/01/1974 and 01/01/2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

Age Relaxation:

• Other Backward Communities, SC/ST and Differentialy Abled candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.
