Military Jobs – Educational Qualification:
Technical Entry Scheme (TES-53) Jul 2025:
- Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from INDIAN ARMY (PERMANENT COMMISSION) 10+2 TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME – 53 COURSE COMMENCING FROM JUL 2025 recognized education boards are eligible to apply for this entry. Eligibility condition for calculating PCM percentage of various state /central boards will be based on marks obtained in Class XII only.
- Candidate must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2024
Training: Total training will be of 4 years
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025): 16½ and 19½ years as on 01 July 2025 not be born before 02 Jan 2006 and not after 01 Jan 2009 (both days inclusive)
Cost of Training: ₹13,940/- (as on 2021) and as notified from time to time per week (for the period of candidate’s stay at Cadet Training Wings/Indian Military Academy Dehradun.) The cost of training is borne by State; will be recovered from candidates withdrawing for personal reasons

Selection Process of Indian Army Careers
- Candidates will be put through a stage selection procedure
- Those who clear Stage 1 will go to Stage -2.
- Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix the cutoff percentage of marks for each Engineering discipline/stream without assigning any reason.
- Only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cutoff percentage will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres viz. Prayagraj (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Jalandhar (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer
- Call Up letters for SSB interviews will be issued by respective Selection Centres through the candidate’s registered e-mail ID and SMS only
- Merit list will be prepared engineering stream/subject wise based on the marks obtained by the candidate at the SSB interview
Centre Allotment: After shortlisting of applications, the centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their email.
