Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL), a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Air India Limited, was formed on 11th March 2004. Presently, AIESL is approved by the DGCA under the purview of CAR-145, which carries with it nomination and acceptance by the DGCA of additional Managers (Base Maintenance, Line Maintenance, and Workshops) who are competent and experienced in the area of their work.

Educational Qualifications:
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer:
- Professional Qualification
- Must possess valid Structural repair Approvals as mentioned below:
- B777/B737/A320 Aircraft Structural Repair Approval with ECI COC
- B777/B737/A320 Composite Repair Approval.
Notes:
- Candidates having experience and fulfilling conditions for the issue of structural repair approval may also apply. However, acceptance of such candidates will be at the discretion of the company.
- All candidates who hold valid approval/experience but do not have current authorisation will have to acquire the same within six months of appointment. Such appointees will be paid only part emoluments, as may be decided by the company from time to time, till the issue of authorisation.
- The recruitment will be on a fixed term employment for a period of five years and extendable upto age of 58 years whichever is earlier. Extension for the further period will be based on Company requirements.
Age Limit ( As on 01 April 2023 ):
- General / EWS Category: Not above 48 Years
- O.B.C: Not above 51 years
- SC/ST: Not above 53 years
- Ex-Servicemen: –as per Govt. rules but not more than 55 years
Salary: Rs 95,000 – 1,28,000/- month

Selection Process
- The selection process includes Interviews.
- The selection procedure involves a personal interview of the candidates who prima facie meets eligibility criteria & Pre Employment Medical Examination.
